Absent Fever and Stadiums & Shrines: NYC Showcase
My digital label Absent Fever (co-run with verb/re/verb) will be putting on an NYC showcase with the lovely Stadiums and Shrines:
Absent Fever has long been in collaboration with Stadiums & Shrines, from sharing music to collecting inspiration, S&S has been our go to. On July 19th we would like to share with you some of the artists we’ve both drawn influence from and enduringly admired. This showcase will be a night of both sounds and visuals, with live visuals by the Chicago videographer Left Arm Single, and free-form sounds by It Is Rain In My Face, Phantom Power, Headaches, and Kohwi. Come hang with us at 242 Troutman Street in Brooklyn for the rare occasion that Absent Fever inhabits New York.

Check out this new tune from Phantom Power’s eighth release…FUCK. Nope I swear I’m not lying to you, that’s the actual name of this album. Eric Littman always seems to have such odd choices for song/album titles, but hey it totally works for his overall style and aesthetic.
